Beyond Molding: Exploring Our Secondary Operations

9/24/2026

From molding to finishing, we offer more than just plastic parts. Our secondary operations give clients the flexibility and support they need to take a project from production to completion in one place.

Whether you need pad printing, drilling, assembly, punching, or inventory management, our team tailors each service to meet the unique needs of every project. Find details on each of these services below.

Inventory

Flexibility drives our approach to inventory management. For each project, we tailor our services to meet our clients’ needs. We can support long-term planning with scheduled releases or offer just-in-time fulfillment. Find examples of how our clients use this service here.

Pad Printing

Pad printing is the most recent addition to our list of secondary operations. For this work, we use an indirect, offset printing process to transfer text onto any plastic molded product produced at our shop. Our team has honed this new skill working for Teledyne on their filter casings.

Drilling

Drilling is another secondary service we offer. One client, KB Signaling, uses it for their end cap housing. To increase efficiency, we mold all the parts first. Then, after letting them cool, we drill holes in each one using our drill press. This approach allows us to complete them all at once.

Assembly

Our team can handle full or partial assembly, sourcing external components when needed. We also offer boxing, shipping, quality control measures, and inventory management as part of this comprehensive service. Learn about our turnkey approach here

Punching

While our drilling is done in bulk, we use a different strategy with punching. When making KB Signaling’s B-1 relay base, we make the part. Then, while it’s still warm, the inserts are punched into the piece. This is done immediately at the machine to meet our client’s specifications, resulting in a high-quality product each time.

Whatever your project requires, our secondary operations are designed to make the manufacturing process simpler and more efficient. By offering these services alongside our molding capabilities, we can keep more of the process under one roof – from the first molded part to the finished product.
